I had the privilege of photographing Koryo Dance Theater (http://www.koryodance.com/) for their preparation of a showcase in Washington DC. Not only I was impressed by the grace and beauty of the pieces they performed, but I was truly touched by the love and care the director Sunhwa Chung showed to the dancers and everyone else who was present. I have no doubt that this company will become one of the finest in New York with all the charm they possess.
For the final bow, the director Chung invited her daughter Sarang onto the stage. Sarang lovingly jumped on her, and the director took the bow with her still in her arms.
